Dear St. Paul Families and Friends,
This is a short week for all of us, with Thanksgiving Break coming very quickly and before we know it, we will be putting up Christmas trees and celebrating the holiday. The first half of the year always zooms by so quickly.
This is also the time of the year that we send out our “Intent to Return” forms for the 2019-2020 school year. It seems hard to believe that we begin planning for the next school year so early. The results of these forms allow me to project staffing for the next school year along with our yearly budget. These results also help us determine tuition rates for the following school year which we set after Christmas break so, you can understand the importance of them. If you are not sure please mark your forms undecided. It is important for us to receive all forms back for this planning. The forms will be going out to you by email this week and I would love them returned as soon as possible. In the past, we always have them back within a week or two at the most, and my hope is that we will continue that pattern. Thank you ahead of time for taking care of this quickly.
On Wednesday we will be participating in our annual Thanksgiving Mass and Food drive. Please make sure that all donations are in by Wednesday morning so that we can have them for the offertory at Mass at 8:00 am. There is a list in our biweekly newsletter as to what your grade level is collecting. St. Vincent DePaul will be picking up the food after Mass to be used in packing Thanksgiving baskets for the needy. Your donations are really appreciated.
In closing, on behalf of the staff and myself, I would like to wish you a Blessed Thanksgiving for your family and friends. We, at St. Paul, have so very many things to mention in our prayers of thanksgiving. You will be in my families special Thanksgiving prayer. Until next week,
With blessings from my heart,
