“The Heart of St. Paul … Growing Together in Faith, Knowledge, and Virtue”
________________________________________

Dear St. Paul Families:

On Sunday evening, I witnessed, once again, the outpouring of affection and support of our St. Paul families for each other in one’s hour of need. The Candlelight Prayer service for the Cadenbach Brothers had over 100 adults and children participating. Please remember the boys and their family at this sad time in your prayers. The boys are the nephews and cousins of St. Paul’s Viau family. At the bottom of this page is a link to a Gofundme page to help defray funeral expenses for the boys.

Conferences are just around the corner along with our First Trimester Report Cards. Grade-book will be shut down to parents this Wednesday in order for our teachers to begin inputting report card grades. They will reopen on Wednesday, November 16th, the day before our parent / teacher conferences. If you have not signed up for a teacher conference, please do so as soon as possible. K-5 teacher conferences will be held in your student’s classroom. Middle School will be hosting conferences in the Café for this trimester.

Student Leadership Council elections will be held tomorrow. Each child and teacher will receive one vote. We will be voting in room 206 on our I-pads. The students are excited to finally have the results of our election process. We will be announcing those results tomorrow afternoon. The nominees will meet in the gym with me first and I will announce the results to them and then I will introduce our new officers to our school.

Don’t forget about our traditional Veteran’s Day Celebration. This year it will be hosted by seventh grade. All of the information concerning Mass and the assembly is listed below on our week at a glance.

Beginning this week Mrs. Murphy and I have added a new section to our weekly newsletter. It’s called “Food For Thought.” In this section we will pass on interesting articles that either of us have read and would like to pass on. I received some wonderful information each month from West County Psychological. Many of them are parenting articles and merely informational but all and all, interesting reading. If anyone comes across some interesting reading they would like to share, just send it our way and we will enter it into the weekly news.

That’s it for this week, until next,

With blessings from my heart,
Fran
