Dear St. Paul Friends and Families:

Welcome back and a Happy New Year to all! I hope everyone enjoyed their time with family and friends. It’s time to get back into the grove. Surprisingly, school is very quiet today … I think the students were ready to come back.

How about this cold weather? Just to let you know, the students will not be going outside for recess any time soon … at least this week. However, please pack a sweater or sweat shirt for your child. Some of the rooms will be a little chilly until the building warms back up. It was a little chilly today in the building.

I have approximately 80% of the intent to return forms. If you have not sent your form to the office, please send it by the end of this week. If you are undecided, mark the box undecided and that way I can account for your family. Next Monday is the first School board meeting that we begin discussions on staffing and tuition for the 2018-19 school year. An accurate student number is the key component in this process.

This week is a slow week as far as events in school are concerned. I think both staff and students are slowly getting back into the routine of school after our 11-day break. So I am keeping this short. Until next week,

With blessings from my heart,
Fran
