“The Heart of St. Paul … Growing Together in Faith, Knowledge, and Virtue”

Have a very Blessed Easter!

Dear Parents and Friends:

Our week began with many sleepy children and adults alike. Loosing that hour of sleep last Sunday seemed to effect all of us at school. (Administrator included!!) Springing ahead each year always seems so much more difficult than falling behind in the fall. By Wednesday we were back to normal and the buzz of school and anticipation of Spring break began along with many excited second graders for their oncoming First Communion celebration!

We closed the week with a fabulous Passion Play in church sponsored by our Seventh Grade Class. It was a very moving experience and you could see how moved the children were by the expressions on their faces. If you ever have the opportunity to attend this service, (our seventh grade performs it each year,) please take advantage of it.

On Saturday our second grade classes of PSR and full time school received the sacrament of Holy Eucharist. (over 70 children) This too is a moving celebration and always takes me back to when I made my own First Communion. The children looked like angels as they approached to receive. Please remember them in your Easter prayers as they begin their life-long journey of receiving Jesus into their hearts.

Please be reminded to check your bulletin for Holy Week services at St. Paul. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a wonderful Easter season and a safe and relaxing Spring Break. The weather has been beautiful so far and I am sure the students are taking advantage of it. See you next Tuesday,

With blessings from my heart,
